The Pre Moot
We are happy to invite you to the Brussels Pre-Moot which will take place on 4 and 5 April 2019 in the centre of Brussels.
Following its success of the last edition, the Brussels Pre-Moot will be held again this year. We encourage participants from all over the world to see how they deal with the challenges of international commercial arbitration under the CISG that are subject of the 26th VIS International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
We invite top Belgian arbitrators and arbitration counsels to act as arbitrators in our competition.
We look forward to meeting you in Brussels!
Under the auspices of:
We welcome 12 to 16 teams and assure that each team will be able to plead at least three times!
The Pre-Moot Arbitrators will be top Belgian arbitrators and professional arbitration lawyers!
If you are interested in sitting as an arbitrator during the Brussels Pre-Moot, please fill out the registration form together with a brief description of your experience in arbitration and send it to us by e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org).
As an arbitrator, your task would consist in leading the pleading sessions, grading the teams and giving them performance feedback. You would not have to render a decision on the merits of the case. In due time, you would receive all relevant information regarding our Pre-Moot: - Detailed programme and venue information, - Case information - Arbitrator’s memo.
